
Alexander (Sasha) NaydichVentureLabsTM Associate
Sasha Naydich joined Flagship Ventures in 2012 as an Associate within Flagship VentureLabsTM, after completing the Flagship VentureLabs Entrepreneurial Fellows program. Sasha works with VentureLabs partners as part of a venture creation team, exploring innovative ideas and opportunities, and developing critical scientific and business components that will lead to the firm’s next breakthrough startups. Before joining Flagship, Sasha was an engineering consultant at DuPont, where he supported process and product development and productivity improvements across various lines of business. His previous internships included studying methods for characterization of microporous materials at Merck and evaluation of fuel stabilizers and oxygenates at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Sasha holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, where he worked on electrospinning of polymer nanofibers with encapsulated metal nanoparticles for filtration and reaction catalysis in the lab of Dr. Yong L. Joo. While at Cornell, Sasha was awarded the Merck Engineering and Technology Fellowship for academic excellence in engineering.
